Antonio Castillo founded NewGen ADU Builders in 2026 with a simple idea: ADU construction should be honest, transparent, and committed to the people paying for it.
As a family-owned business based in Cerritos, NewGen treats each project like the neighbor's house it often is. Garage conversions, storage room conversions, and new attached and detached units are the whole business, so every detail gets the attention it deserves.

How We Work

Short Intake Interview
When you reach out, we ask a few quick questions about your property, your goals for the ADU, and your budget. It takes minutes and means we show up to the site visit prepared.

On-Site Visit
We schedule a time to walk your property together. We look at the existing structure or lot, utilities, and access, and we talk honestly about which type of ADU makes sense for you.

Design & Written Estimate
We turn the site visit into a plan and a written estimate that shows exactly what is included. You review and approve before we start. No surprises.

Build & Handoff
Our team builds the unit, keeps you updated as it progresses, and walks the finished space with you. Then we stand behind the work with a 1-year workmanship warranty.
